Wellbeing – What makes us Go Fishing ?

The many positive benefits of time spent in nature and in particular, angling are well documented.
Angling provides a positive and restorative contribution to improving a person’s mental, therapeutic wellbeing and offers an invaluable distraction from daily life, within the physical task of fishing itself. Moreover, the inevitable long-term exposure to scientifically proven, beneficial ‘blue / green’ spaces, further cements angling as the go to sport to aid one’s wellbeing / mindfulness.
