Can people based in Wales travel as far as they like to go fishing within Wales from July 6th onwards ?
Yes, anglers based in Wales will be able to travel without restriction from 6th July.
Can people based in Wales now travel to England to fish ?
People in Wales will be able to travel to England to fish from 6th July.
Can people based in England now travel to Wales to fish for the day ?
People in England can travel to Wales to fish from 6th July, there will be no travel restrictions.
Can people based in England come to Wales for a fishing holiday ?
Yes, this will be possible from the 13th July.
It is looking likely this may be moved forward to 11th July, if virus infection rates continue to drop in Wales.

Is night fishing allowed in Wales ?
Night fishing is allowed in Wales –However you must ensure you are actively fishing, if you stop fishing and stay overnight before July 13th this would not be considered in line with the restrictions.
Is charter boat fishing allowed in Wales ?
If permitted to operate by the local port/harbour authority, Charter boat fishing is allowed in Wales subject to Welsh Government COVID-19 regulations. 2m Social distancing rule must be apply and the number of households that can meet outdoors is a maximum of two. More information here.
