Andrew Dixon, secretary of the Penrith Angling Association, would be the first to admit he’s no singer. But in the spirit of fun during the lockdown, he recorded a song for some of his fly fishing friends.

It’s a cover of Don Williams’ ‘Amanda’ with changes in the lyrics to cover the views and circumstances of the present time.

The response was better than he expected and they started sharing with other pals, so we thought other anglers in the country would find some joy in it and perhaps sing along.
